Caron Cakes Infinity Scarf Crochet Pattern, Kaleidoscope Infinity Scarf

Crochet Infinity Scarf Pattern using Caron Cakes Yarn

After the huge popularity of my Ocean Waves Scarf crochet pattern using Caron Cakes Yarn, I picked up another skein. This time I chose colorway jelly roll for its stark contrast. The cake pop I used had subtle color changes that flowed seamlessly while this colorway switches colors abruptly to make a bold statement. Infinity scarves are very popular with the younger crowd. They are so versatile and will add spice to any wardrobe. I used a lacy pattern to give it more drape and elegance. This is one pattern you can wear well into the spring. I hope you enjoy making it.

Pattern
Materials
 1. Worsted weight variegated yarn. I used one ball of Caron Cakes in color Jelly Roll.
 2. Hook J (6 mm)
 3. Tapestry needle to weave in the ends.

Crochet Slouch Hat Pattern

This textured slouchy crochet hat is my new favorite. I designed this crochet pattern for girls and women but when the photographer tried it on a boy, I loved it as well. So now we have a unisex crochet hat pattern! Lionbrand Wool Ease was used for the hat. It was the right thickness to provide drape to this slouchy hat.

* The pattern is written in Standard American terms.

* The pattern includes hats in sizes 0-3 month, 3-6 months, 6-12 months. 1-4 years, 4-10 years, Pre-teen to Small Woman and Large Woman

* The pattern uses Hooks J(6 mm) and I( 5.5 mm).

*Pattern uses Worsted weight yarn (size 4). I used Lionbrand Wool Ease for gauge.

Chunky Cowl Crochet Pattern

This chunky crochet cowl will make a great addition to your wardrobe. The crochet pattern works up quick and is made from just one skein of Big Twist Chunky. I love this chunky yarn because it is not too thick, just the right thickness to show off some texture. The texture on this scarf is created using half double crochet decreases. The cowl was made in color cotton candy which looks nothing like the picture. It is a peachy pink and looks gorgeous.

Pattern
Materials
 1. Chunky, size 5 yarn. I used one ball of Big Twist Chunky in color Cotton Candy.
 2. Hook L (8 mm)
 3. Tapestry needle to weave in the ends.

Size
32 inches around and 9 1/2 inches wide.

Gauge
Using L(8mm) hook, 14 hdc sts= 5 inches

Yardage
Used up the entire 195 yards of one skein of Big Twist Chunky.

Pearl Beanie, Puff Stitch Crochet Hat Pattern

Puff Stitch Hat Crochet Pattern

Do you love textured hats? Then you will absolutely love this crochet pattern using Puff stitches. Did you notice the brim? Don't you think the stitch perfectly complements the bulky texture?  I used Lionbrand Wool Ease for the hats. It makes the right kind of Puff stitches, not too bulky. Colors used for the samples are Fisherman and Rose Heather. The furry pom pom and the metal buttons add a nice touch. A tutorial for making your own furry pom pom in just under a dollar will be coming up on my blog shortly.

The hat is worked bottom-up with decreases at the top to shape the hat. Working top down didn't give the same effect as working bottom up. So I decided to pick this approach and just love the outcome. The hat comes in all sizes from baby to adult. You can make one of these lovely hats for every girl in your family.
